Kunafa with Ashta Cream & Orange Blossom

A rich traybake dessert with crisp shredded pastry and a soft cream centre.

Crisp, creamy, and perfumed with orange blossom.

Method

Butter the pastry. Separate and coat the kunafa pastry well with melted butter.

Layer and fill. Press half into the pan, add the cream filling, then top with the remaining pastry.

Bake and syrup. Bake until golden and finish with warm syrup before serving.
